In an age where every assignment is at your students’ fingertips let’s start the AI literacy conversation this fall. In this session you will learn how to go beyond AI detection tools to create an AI empowered classroom. In this advanced genAI session, you will rethink traditional assignments with genAI in mind. Analyze the genAI Acceptable Use Scale and variations created by classroom teachers for use in your classroom this coming school year and learn how to foster AI literacy in your classroom this school year.

Participants should bring a charged device, laptop or Chromebook preferred and a lesson or assignment that they give to students that might be susceptible to generative AI use by students.
